What's the difference between the BIS Guide and Meta Gear?
The BIS Guide is an editor-curated theoretical optimum for each spec. Meta Gear is an aggregation of what top-ranked players actually wear right now. The two don't always match — right after a new tier set drops or a trinket nerf lands, real-world picks tend to move faster than theoretical BIS.
How often is the data updated?
Collection runs automatically every day at 00:03 KST. We pull the top ranking page from each raid boss and Mythic+ dungeon on WarcraftLogs, deduplicate by character name, server, and region, and aggregate from there. Sampling method and known biases are documented on the methodology page.
Is this Korea-server focused?
The default collection region is KR, but US and EU data is also supported. Sign in with Battle.net and we sync your characters automatically based on your account region.
