BISPath ("the Service") provides World of Warcraft gear analysis and BIS recommendations. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your information.

- Battle.net account information (BattleTag, account ID) via OAuth login
- WoW character data (gear, stats, progression) fetched from the Blizzard API
- Usage data collected through cookies (session, Google Analytics, Google AdSense)
3. Third-Party Services
- Google Analytics — website usage analysis
- Google AdSense — personalized advertising
- Blizzard API — character data retrieval
4. Data Retention
- Account data is retained while your account is active
- Character data is refreshed from the Blizzard API on each visit and cached temporarily
5. Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Upon request, we will delete your account and all associated character data.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies for session management, and third-party cookies from Google Analytics and Google AdSense. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.
7. European Users (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the following rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): right to access, right to rectification, right to erasure (right to be forgotten), right to restriction of processing, right to data portability, and right to object to processing. The legal bases on which we process your data are (1) your explicit consent when you sign in with Battle.net and sync your characters, and (2) our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service. As of the latest revision, BISPath does not yet present a separate cookie consent banner before loading Google Analytics and Google AdSense scripts. Implementing a Consent Mode or CMP for EEA, UK, and CH visitors is on our roadmap; until then, if you wish to block analytics and advertising cookies, please use your browser or extension settings to do so.
